To overcome the perception that lawyers are inflexible on fees and clients do not always get value for money, TWM Solicitors has worked up a number of pricing models to address these concerns. The objective is to provide a client with more than one pricing option, enabling a suitable choice to be made reflecting individual circumstances.
We provide a wide range of legal services, and pricing options will differ between those services. Consequently, we have put on this website further information about pricing as it relates to each service. Examples include:
An hourly rate combined with cost estimates;
The provision of a service at different price points. For example with Wills we can help you to decide if an “off the shelf” or “tailored” Will might better suit your needs. In some cases, a “tailored solution” may prove more cost effective in the long term;
Outcome-based pricing. A price can be agreed depending on the outcome of a case; and
Retainer. For regular work it can be beneficial to agree a monthly fee which offers certainty within the scope of the retainer arrangement.

When it comes to sending a bill (either interim or at the end of a matter), because a client has had a choice on the most suitable pricing structure, then costs, when they come, should not be a surprise. We will always seek to advise as to your bill before we send it.
At the completion of every matter, we always seek feedback on our performance, including our charges. This way can monitor that we are managing the subjects of costs and value in a way which is appreciated by our clients.
