Overview of the Vacancy
We are looking to recruit a Marketing Executive to be based in our Guildford office. The working hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, and from 9.00am to 5.00pm on Friday, including a one hour lunch break.
Working closely with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Executive will play a key role in the delivery of the firm’s department, office and central marketing plans, developing and implementing a wide variety of marketing activities.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Marketing Director to execute marketing activities
- Acting as day-to-day point of contact for internal enquiries, and liaison with suppliers and third parties (design, digital marketing, photography, branded merchandise).
- Organising and managing a programme of TWM hosted events: in-house, external and virtual, from inception to follow up
- Attending TWM hosted events, to ensure smooth execution and acting as representative of the firm
- Working closely with internal teams to prepare various materials to support marketing and business development initiatives
- Liaising with the external design team on creating, editing and publishing brochures, pitches, articles, adverts and other marketing collateral to help build a strong print, digital and social media identity for TWM’s marketing campaigns
- Helping to execute marketing campaigns via the website and social media channels
- Coordinating and publishing new website content using the website CMS
- Schedule timely reviews with departments to ensure website content is accurate and fully optimised
- Management of social media channels to schedule and monitor the publishing of content, and keeping track of engagement activity on the firm’s social media channels
- Email marketing – primary user of the firm’s marketing email account, including template creation, management of mailing data, setup and execution of email marketing campaigns and tracking responses
- Coordinating the publication of internal communications e.g. TWM Update, intranet content
- Support the Marketing Director with developing the firm’s new CRM database to enhance the firm-wide marketing and business development plan
- Administrative tasks and reporting as needed e.g. client feedback reporting, website analytics, marketing lists etc.
- Ad hoc marketing support and activities as required to facilitate the smooth running of the department.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant marketing experience, ideally within a law firm or other professional services firm
- Educated to a degree level in business or marketing related areas preferred or CIM qualification
- Ability to think creatively and generate new, varied and interesting marketing campaigns
- Proactive approach with the ability to research and quickly understand the latest trends and best practices in marketing, to identify potential new marketing ideas and concepts
- Highly organised, great project management skills and excellent time management
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional attitude
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage competing demands
- Flexibility
- Strong knowledge of working with a CMS platform, ideally WordPress
- Social media experience and a strong understanding of SEO is important for the role
- Strong knowledge of Adobe preferred
- IT skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
