International inheritance and Wills:
- French Succession Law
In France, the rules regarding freedom of Wills are substantially different than in the UK. There is the rule of forced heirship applying on successions governed by French law.
- EU Succession Law
The new EU Succession Regulation has changed the rules applicable if you have assets in more than one country. In some circumstances, it may be possible to choose the law applicable to one’s succession.
