In keeping with TWM’s ethos, our approach to fees is to be open and transparent. We like to engage with clients to offer a fee structure appropriate to the case.
We usually charge for our work on a time spent basis applying the following hourly rates:
-
Partners - £345 plus VAT
-
Trainee Solicitor - £160 plus VAT
All cases are supervised by a Partner. Please click on each person named above to see a bio-note detailing their experience.
To help you better understand the costs associated with our services, we have detailed estimates of average costs for the following:
-
Employment Tribunal claims – representing you in claims of wrongful dismissal, unfair dismissal, discrimination, breach of contract and unlawful deduction from wages
With regard to other categories of work, click here:
-
ad hoc employment law advice often suits fees being applied on a time spent basis, using an hourly rate, because it allows clients to pay only for the advice that they require;
-
for complex and lengthy cases, an hourly rate may also be most suitable, but this will be combined with cost estimates and regular invoicing;
-
fixed and agreed fee arrangements are sometimes available for the preparation of contracts, handbooks and other policies;
-
fixed and agreed fees are usually used for training and mediation activities;
-
fixed and agreed fees may sometimes also be appropriate for elements of a substantial dispute to help you know the cost involved; and
-
conditional fees can sometimes be considered (an arrangement where our fee contains an element depending upon success).
We are always open to discussing the most appropriate method of charging for the work we are to conduct.
