Sarah Bostock, Partner & Mediator in Family Law
Sarah has specialised in family law since qualifying in August 2009. She has a non-confrontational approach to the resolution of family matters where possible. Sarah practices in all aspects of family law; divorce, financial disputes and children disputes between both married and unmarried partners, as both a solicitor and mediator.
Sarah has assisted in very high net worth and complex ancillary relief matters also handling, independently, cases involving: self employed partners, assets held in trust, complicated family structures, international elements and jurisdiction complexities. Sarah has experience of Hindu divorce. Sarah has a particular interest in private law Children Act proceedings. She can prepare Cohabitation Agreements, Pre-Nuptial Agreements and Separation Deeds. She qualified as a mediator in 2012.
Sarah spent six years as the elected Chair of Young Surrey Resolution, the organisation of family lawyers who believe that it is important to consider the needs of the whole family, in particular the needs of the children during the divorce process.
Sarah obtained a Science degree at Nottingham University, before converting to Law. She completed her LPC at the College of Law in Guildford. She spent a short time working in the corporate and debt finance departments at Macfarlanes in London before starting her training contract with TWM.
Sarah enjoys most sports, especially skiing, and she has various pets including a horse and a german shorthaired pointer. Sarah enjoys socialising and travelling (ideally to countries where skiing is the preferred pastime).
