Lora Clark, Legal Executive in Family Law
Lora is an experienced family law practitioner. She was previously with Wheltons in Guildford and came to TWM when the firms merged in July 2012. Lora deals with all aspects of family law including divorce and relationship breakdown, financial settlements and family disputes including applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, domestic violence, and has a particular interest and specialism in children law, acting for clients in any aspect of this area of law but including residence and contact disputes, in applications for and against leave to remove from the jurisdiction, Special Guardianship applications and adoption as well as advising extended family members in relation to public law children proceedings.
Lora is experienced in complex children law matters including intractable disputes, hostile parents, enforcement of orders, abduction and appeals and also cases with an international element.
Lora has acted for members of the LGBT community.
Lora has extended rights of audience before the Courts in family proceedings and provides advocacy to her clients where possible.
Lora is founder and original chair of the Guildford and District Branch of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and now as branch secretary looks after a growing and thriving membership.
