Kirsty Manley, Solicitor in Dispute Resolution
Kirsty graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2014 after studying Law with Criminology, and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School in 2015. She joined TWM as an office assistant in our Epsom office in September 2015, and began working in our commercial property team as a paralegal in April 2016.
Kirsty started her training contract in February 2018 and she worked across the TWM offices in residential conveyancing, dispute resolution and commercial property. Kirsty qualified as a solicitor in February 2020 into our dispute resolution team.
Kirsty has developed a keen interest in Contentious Trusts and Probate and upon qualification has focused mainly on this area of law. Her experience includes assisting with challenges under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 for lack of reasonable financial provision, claims to challenge the validity of wills, and applications to remove executors. She has attended multiple hearings in the Chancery Division of the High Court and the Royal Courts of Justice, she also has experience in resolving disputes by mediation.
In her spare time Kirsty loves to travel, cook and keep fit. She will be attempting the Three Peaks Challenge in July with some of her colleagues to raise money for TWM’s affiliated charity: Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.
