Connor McKee, Trainee Solicitor
Connor joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in August 2019 and has completed seats in Family Law, Residential Property and Private Client. Connor is currently in his final seat assisting the Dispute Resolution team in relation to a broad array of disputes, including property, contract and all types of business and commercial claims.
Before beginning his Training Contract, Connor worked as a Client Associate at a leading expert networking search provider. In this role, Connor connected global leading investment firms, consultancies and corporations with first-hand knowledge from specialised industry experts across a multitude of sectors.
Connor Graduated from Newcastle University with a Degree in History in 2016. Connor then went on complete his GDL in 2017 at The University of Law, earning a Full Scholarship and the Public Law Prize for highest mark in the year for this module. Following this, Connor completed his LPC alongside an MSc in Law, Business and Management from The University of Law in 2018, earning a Commendation.
While at University, Connor volunteered at the Gujarat Centre for Social Justice compiling a database of case summaries on social justice issues. These cases primarily involved the rights of women, Dalits’ and other socially vulnerable groups. These summaries were then taught to local communities in Gujarat.
Alongside this role, Connor worked for the Birmingham Employment Rights Advice Line. In this role he assisted a team of qualified solicitors who provided free and confidential advice to those who needed to clarify their legal position in relation to their employment. Connor also volunteered for Street Law, speaking at schools outlining major contemporary legal issues.
