We are delighted to share news that we have strengthened our Commercial Litigation offering with the appointment of Simon Brew as a Partner in our Dispute Resolution team.

Simon joins the firm from Fladgate in London, where he was a Partner for 18 years, and he will be based in our Guildford office.

A commercial litigator with 20 years’ experience of resolving business and commercial disputes, Simon specialises in dealing with High Court litigation, arbitration and ADR, in particular:

• Commercial contractual disputes
• Finance disputes and the enforcement of security
• Shareholder disputes
• Directors duties and liability
• Professional negligence and liability
• Matters involving allegations of fraud and asset recovery

Simon has been recognised in the field of professional negligence for many years in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners directories. He has acted for both claimants and defendants, including for one of the Big 4 firms of accountants. Simon has also acted for clients who have been subject to regulatory investigations and has represented clients at interviews under caution before various regulatory bodies, including the FCA and the HSE.

His clients span sectors, including:

Many disputes in which Simon has advised have involved an international element.
