Are you an aspiring lawyer looking to take your first step into your legal career? We are looking for the next generation of partners whose values align with our own.
Our summer and autumn Vacation Schemes are designed to give students a challenging and rewarding experience, to develop skills and deepen knowledge of the law, while building networks with solicitors and other professionals in the field. This programme is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain an insight into life at TWM, to get a feel for what it is like to work as a trainee lawyer at the firm and determine whether TWM might be a good fit for you.
Placements are for two weeks and take place across various teams in our Guildford office, with up to four places to be filled in 2026. Successful applicants are paid £451.77 per week.

The Vacation Scheme is open to undergraduates in the second year of study or above. We welcome applications from students who are passionate about pursuing a career in law whatever their background or experience.
We run two vacation schemes a year and have places for two students on each scheme.
No. It is not a requirement although we always welcome applications from vacation scheme students. We select applicants for our solicitor training programme through the dedicated open application window each year.
