Our Experience

Examples of recent work which we have been involved in include:

• Advising various family members who were in dispute with other family members concerning the termination of a multi-million pound family farming partnership. The dispute resulted in contested proceedings in the Chancery Division concerning difficult technical issues of valuation of partnership interests; applications for Statutory Wills in the Court of Protection and appeals against Orders made; contested applications concerning the representation of elderly and infirm family members;
• Advising a couple in dispute with a major High Street bank following its wrongful payment of our clients' money to a fraudster;
• Acting for a 16 year old girl who suffered sevre injuries whilst travelling as a rear seat passenger in a car driven by a friend;
• Acting for one of an unmarried couple, who was seeking to claim a significant share of a property (which was owned by his partner) as a consequence of contributions that he had made towards the purchase and improvement of that property;
• We regularly advise and act in disputes concerning the validity of Wills, claims against estates and disputes between beneficiaries and executors; and
• We regularly advise and act in disputes concerning Powers of Attorney, the care and management of elderly persons and their finances and disputes concerning minor children’s interests.
