Paralympic dream becoming a reality for TWM Solicitors PA  (25 November 2011)

PARALYMPICS DREAM BECOMING A REALITY FOR TWM SOLICITORS PA

Lee Frawley, a PA in the Reigate office of TWM Solicitors is well on the way to competing in the Dressage events at the Paralympic Games in London next year. Together with her horse Papillion 118 ('Pip'), Lee achieved the necessary qualifying score at an international competition held back in July. Lee will represent the US Virgin Islands (the place of her birth), although she has been a long-time Surrey resident.

Like many athletes who are not able to train full-time, Lee's biggest challenges aside from funding, are balancing the competing priorities of work, family, and riding Pip at the yard near Horley. She is grateful to the support of Miranda Lambie, trainer and co-owner of Pip who runs Whitewood House Farm where Pip is stabled, trainer Andrew Murphy and vet Steve Brooks. At TWM we have granted additional time off for Lee to pursue her busy training and competition schedule to make sure she has every chance of reaching the Games and once there to fulfil her potential.
